Monday Transfer Gist- Madrid Plot £93m Bale Bid, Liverpool Return For Torres


Liverpool are considering making a shock move to re-sign Chelsea front man Fernando Torres this summer as a replacement for the Arsenal-bound forward Luis Suarez. The Gunners have expressed any interest in signing Suarez, with two bids already rejected, the second of which for £40m plus £1 was enough to activate the release clause in the Uruguay attacker's contract at Anfield.

Striker Gonzalo Higuain has sealed a five- year deal to join Serie A side Napoli from Spanish club Real Madrid for an undisclosed fee.
